Opportunities Business
There are many business opportunities around today. You don’t have to go very far to be bombarded with every kind imaginable… just surf the Internet for a hour and you will see what I mean.
The question is what business opportunity should you consider? What are the key factors when looking for the best opportunities?
Here are some basic things I look for in any business opportunity:
1. Trends. Is the business your looking at capitalizing on a huge trend? It is far easier to build a business that rides a wave of momentum than it is to swim against the current. Many people find business niche’s that are very big trends and then wonder why they don’t get a lot of customers.
2. Leverage. Any good business should give you leverage. Don’t be fooled though because there are a lot of business models that are nothing more than a glorified job. A good business opportunity should create “hands off” or residual income.
3. High re-order rate (or consumable products). Do you understand how important this really is? Just imagine how much more money you would make over a twenty year period if your products or services were used over and over again by ONE customer or client?
4. Innovation. The 21st century is going to be marked by innovation. If your business is not built around innovation then you will be left behind.
5. Stability. There is no point in investing your time, money, and energy into something that won’t last. It is extremely important to have a long-term vision and to pick a business opportunity that will last to see your vision fulfilled.
One last piece of advice is for you to have a mentor in business. It is much easier to find someone who is where you want to be and emulate that then it is to go at it yourself. Mentors can save you a lot of wasted time and money. So be careful who you choose to mentor you!
